Upright Full-HD Camcorder Even with its light weight and slim design, the HX-DC1 is able to render images in breathtaking Full-HD (1920 x 1080). Files are recorded in the MPEG-4 format and are widely used because they combine video and sound in the same file for easy saving onto a PC and quick upload to the internet. * "Full-HD video with 1920 x 1080 pixels" in Panasonic Upright HD Camcorder refers to video recordings with 1920 pixels in the horizontal direction and 1080 pixels in the vertical direction. Depending on the situation, you can quickly switch between high-quality still images with 14-megapixel resolution or Full HD video. You can also capture 2-megapixel still images while recording a video by simply pressing the Still button (which will vary depending on the video mode used for shooting). The HX-DC1 features a 3.0" wide-screen LCD monitor that allows the brightness to be adjusted in seven levels. It also rotates through approximately 285ยบ, so you can easily position it at your preferred angle. Both features are designed to keep your subject clearly in view, whether you're shooting high, low, or even at yourself. The HX-DC1 features a 12x Double Range Zoom. You can easily switch between the maximum zooming areas of 6x/12x with the press of the Zoom Range button to enable truly dynamic zooming without a degradation in image quality.
